IPOB: Abia govt extends Aba curfew, postpones resumption of schools
The Abia State Government has extended the curfew imposed on Aba, the commercial centre of the state till Sunday.
The dusk to dawn curfew was earlier scheduled to end on Friday.
The curfew was imposed following violence between members of the pro-Biafra separatist group, IPOB, and soldiers in the state.
According to a statement by Enyinnaya Appolos, the Chief Press
Secretary to Governor Okezie Ikpeazu, the state government has also
postponed the resumption of schools in the state.
The Curfew has been extended till Sunday following the Recent attack by Solder and Police men by the IPOB, the Curfew was meant to end Today being 15th but it has been extent to 17th being Sunday.
The School resumption wish should have been on The 18th Sept has been Shifted to 25th Sept And this is to ensure that The Environment will be normal and calm by then. Parent as advice to see the New Development as a safety measure for their kids and ward.
