Tasha Cobbs a religious singer featured Nicki Minaj a secular musician and a stripper with fake ass and fake boobs to sing in a religious song and some Christians are in jubilation and you lots expect other religious faithful to take you guys seriously?
We know the purpose why Nicki was featured in that song; to get a larger viewership and make more money. Not necessarily to win souls for God, after all, Nicki will be shooting another strip dance video with DJ Khalid, Meek Mill or Drake very soon and the so called souls that you think will be won for God will be dancing to her new secular song. So what's the purpose?
A secular music artists can't be there nor here at the same time.
You're either there or you're here. You can't be hot and cold at the
same time. You're either hot or you're cold. So Christians should get
their act right.
If you want to be a Christian artists be a Christian artists and if you want to be a secular artists let us know.
This is not me being judgemental but rather being rational.
Most of us know money is the driving force of religion. That's why anyone can buy the hearts of most religious folks with money and that's why many of us have stopped taking you guys seriously.
I digress!
I use to have this friend who was into yahoo yahoo. He made a whole lot of cash from it and contributed heavily to his local church.
There's this time he gave his pastor a car and some few millions as his contribution for his church development and the pastor sang a lot of praise song wishing him well on his business. Fact is, his pastor was very privy that he's into yahoo yahoo stuff but he careless so long he spends heavily for his church.
This is not peculiar with this church alone but many churches and religion in general.
A young man will donate millions to the church or mosque and the clergy in charge will not care to investigate the source of the money.
Armed robbers, Fraudsters, Drug lords, Kidnappers, Corrupt Politicians etc spend heavily on their local churches or mosques just to buy salvation, the hearts of their religious leaders and also get favours from their religious leaders. Instead of these clergymen to investigate how these people got this money, they won't but rather they'd give these men front sits/row in the church and mosque.
Fact is religion encourages corruption.
Recently, we heard of a drug peddler who had ruined the lives of thousands via drugs uses drug money to construct a church for God and no one cared to question the source of his money but instead he was made an elder in the church. What a shame. I don't know if this is right in religion. Its only logical to conclude that religion can be bought with money.
If you guys don't know how armed robbers, corrupt politicians, kidnappers, drugs lords, prostitutes etc are laughing at religious folks with how they use their money to control religion, you'd weep for religion.
