we can protect the interests of the frustrated and embattled Nigerian youth.

Politics is about protection of interest. Youths need to be actively involved in politics and governance so that we can protect the interests of the frustrated and embattled Nigerian youth. So far, the only known empowerment programme for the youths is the Npower programme, introduced by the APC-led Federal government of Nigeria. Npower is the only visible achievement of the APC. It took many idle youths off from the streets and gave them something to worry about, a need to fulfill, a purpose for living, for waking up and going out every morning.
But because Nigerians are always looking for mistakes, they will not
commend the FG for this social investment scheme that has brought
succour to thousands of youths. People are always looking for
opportunities to make uncharitable remarks about the APC and speak of
the incumbent FG in a pejorative sense. That's why nothing good lasts in
Nigeria. Because we have refused to change from our evil ways, we keep
getting bad governments, and that's because a people get the kind of
government they truly deserve. Most political leaders complain of how
the masses make things difficult for them when they are contesting for
office. We demand money from contestants before elections and vote for
the highest bidder. What happened to virtue, principle and morality?
That's why politicians forget us after making it to the corridors of power.
We simply need to change our ways. This change can start with the youths. Nigerian youths need to change Nigeria. If you believe that this country can be better, you need to be actively involved in politics. I am not talking of Facebook banter. I am talking of getting a PVC, joining a political platform and participating in elections. As ambassadors of virtue, we need to return the derailing career of Nigeria on the path of virtue and principles. Let us enthrone governments that value and protect such virtues and principles.
Nigerian youths are worth more than victims of neglect, bad leadership and arrested development.
